"Andha Yug"—literally 'Age of Blindness'—is an allegorical play written in the aftermath of the Partition of India by Shri Dharamvir Bharti. Rooted in the epic Mahabharata, this landmark 1989 Delhi performance was staged for the Nehru Shatabdi Samaroh Festival and has since been preserved by the Natya Shodh Sansthan, Kolkata (NSS). Set on the final day of the Kurukshetra war, the narrative chronicles the end of the Dvapara Yuga and the immediate descent into the dark Kali Yuga, triggered by Lord Krishna's demise. This five-act masterpiece explores the moral collapse, cycles of revenge, and psychological trauma of war. It depicts the pyrrhic reality of the Kali Yuga—the worst, shortest, and darkest of the four cosmic ages—in which recursive violence degrades the fabric of civilization, blinding individuals to reason as they are forced to reckon with the devastation's fallout.

Andha Insaaf is the hindi version of the action comedy Telegu movie Dharma Kshetram directed by A.K.Reddy. Starred by N.Balakrishna and Divya Bharti.Balakrishna is in caste of advocate Bannerjee who is an honest lawyer and fights for truth and justice. Due to his honest nature he had a rival named Durga Prasad (played by Rami Reddy). They face each other in both inside and outside the court. In the mean while, Maithili (Divya Bharti) who is a college student and the daughter of the judge plays many pranks with him and fools him falls in love with the advocate. He is appointed to train her for law course but he finds it very difficult because of her uninterest.

The night after the Japanese bombing of Madras, Rajan (Sivaji Ganesan) a radio engineer, is murdered while preparing to leave town with a bag full of cash. A police detective Sivanandan (Jaavar Seetharaman) investigates the case and finds each of his suspects coming up with a different retelling of the events of the night of the murder. A brisk, atmospheric film, brilliant for its time and given that it was made in the constraints of the Madras studio system that experimented with little outside of mythological epics and social dramas.
